What Remains

A project about love, loss, and letting go.

Some things leave our lives. Others leave a story behind.

Feel Your Art Beat, Gallery Twenty Three, and Serendipity Labs invite you to participate in an art project exploring love, loss, memory, and the courage to let go.

We are collecting neckties and bow ties once given by former lovers, along with the stories they carry. Selected stories and ties will become part of an upcoming art exhibition.

How to participate

Three steps to take part

  1. Donate a necktie or bow tie

    Bring a necktie or bow tie once given to you by a former lover.

  2. Share the story it carries

    Write or record the story the tie holds. An anonymous option is available.

  3. Drop it off at Serendipity Labs

    Serendipity Labs, Stamford, Connecticut.
